About E-E-A-T

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness — a framework used to evaluate whether a business appears credible, knowledgeable, established, and safe for customers. This report looks at the trust signals AI systems and search engines may use when deciding whether your business is reliable enough to mention, cite, or recommend.

Not every signal applies to every business. A local restaurant, resort, private investigator, contractor, or professional service company may not need a Wikipedia page, national media coverage, or formal licenses to be trustworthy. Some industries require credentials; others rely on reviews, testimonials, local citations, case studies, and visible proof of real customer experience.

That's why this report separates traditional E-E-A-T signals from practical trust signals — and why every gap it finds becomes a task in your Playbook, prioritized by what will actually move trust for your business.

!
Example

Two companies offer the same service. One shows named experts, real credentials, case studies, and press. The other has a generic team page. AI recommends the first — not because it's better, but because it can be trusted on the evidence it found.

The four dimensions we score

E
Experience
Does your business show real-world experience? Team members, founder information, years in business, case studies, examples of work, customer stories, and proof that real people are behind the company.
E
Expertise
Does your business demonstrate knowledge in your field? Service-specific content, author bios, credentials, licenses, certifications, FAQs, educational resources, and clear explanations of what you do.
A
Authoritativeness
Does the web recognize your business as a credible source? Citations, press mentions, awards, industry recognition, directory listings, Google Business Profile signals, and third-party references.
T
Trustworthiness
Does your business look safe, transparent, and legitimate? HTTPS, contact information, address and phone number, privacy policy, reviews, consistent business information, and clear policies.
Practical trust signals
Not every signal applies to every business. We grade what actually matters for your industry — not vanity benchmarks.

A benchmark — and a better question

Traditional E-E-A-T gives a broad benchmark
"How strong does this business look compared to major authority signals online?" Useful context — but chasing it alone leads to vanity signals.
Eleor's E-E-A-T asks a more useful question
"Can a real customer, search engine, or AI system quickly understand who this business is, what it does, why it is credible, and why it can be trusted?"

The goal isn't just to look credible — it's to find the trust gaps that matter most, and make it easy for customers, search engines, and AI systems to understand, trust, and recommend your business.

What your gaps mean

Each thin pillar points to a specific kind of proof.

If AI understands your services, but doesn't trust you
you likely need stronger trust signals — reviews, testimonials, transparent policies, and clear contact and guarantee details.
If you have trust signals, but no visible expertise
you likely need named experts, bios, and credentials attached to your work so AI can see who stands behind it.
If you have expertise, but the web doesn't cite you
you likely need authoritativeness — press, third-party mentions, and citations that make others point to you as a source.

The goal is simple: give AI so much proof that recommending you is the safe, obvious answer — not a risk it has to hedge.
