1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you disclose to us. In short: we collect personal information that you provide to us — when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us. This may include: names, email addresses, job titles, passwords, contact preferences, billing addresses, and debit/credit card numbers.

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe — see https://stripe.com/privacy.

Information automatically collected. In short: some information — such as your IP address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services. This includes log and usage data, device data, and location data. It does not reveal your specific identity but is needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for internal analytics and reporting.

Google API. Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

In short: we process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. This includes: facilitating account creation and authentication; delivering services; responding to inquiries and offering support; sending administrative information; requesting feedback; protecting our Services (including fraud monitoring and prevention); and saving or protecting an individual's vital interest. We may also process your information for other purposes only with your prior explicit consent.

3. What Legal Bases Do We Rely On to Process Your Information?

In short: we only process your personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law. If you are located in the EU or UK, we may rely on: consent (withdrawable at any time), performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as diagnosing problems, preventing fraud, and understanding how users use our products so we can improve the experience), legal obligations, and vital interests. If you are located in Canada, we may process your information with your express or implied consent, or without consent in the limited exceptional cases permitted by applicable law.

In short: we may share information in specific situations and with the following categories of third parties. We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place designed to help safeguard your personal information. The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are: AI Platforms, Cloud Computing Services, Data Analytics Services, Data Storage Service Providers, Finance & Accounting Tools, Payment Processors, Performance Monitoring Tools, Product Engineering & Design Tools, User Account Registration & Authentication Services, and Website Hosting Service Providers.

We may also share personal information in connection with business transfers (any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition) and with affiliates, whom we require to honor this Privacy Notice.

5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

In short: we may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information. Some technologies help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, and assist with basic site functions. We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies for analytics and advertising. To the extent these technologies are deemed a "sale"/"sharing" under applicable US state laws, you can opt out as described in Section 13.

6. Do We Offer Artificial Intelligence-Based Products?

In short: we offer products, features, and tools powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, or similar technologies ("AI Products"). We provide the AI Products through third-party AI Service Providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Perplexity, and Google Cloud AI. Your input, output, and personal information will be shared with and processed by these AI Service Providers to enable your use of our AI Products. You must not use the AI Products in any way that violates the terms or policies of any AI Service Provider. Our AI Products are designed for AI research, AI search, and text analysis. All personal information processed using our AI Products is handled in line with this Privacy Notice and our agreements with third parties.

7. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

In short: we may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own. Our servers are located in the United States. If you are a resident of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, these countries may not have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country; we will take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.

8. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

In short: as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which you have an account with us. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

In short: through a system of organizational and technical security measures. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk; you should only access the Services within a secure environment.

10. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

In short: we do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age (or the equivalent age specified by law in your jurisdiction). By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that data from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data. You may withdraw consent at any time. You can make a request using the contact details in Section 15, and may also complain to your local data protection authority (EEA/UK/Switzerland).

12. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, and we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

13. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In short: depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. The easiest way to exercise these rights is by submitting a data subject access request, or by contacting us. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
