About Website Readiness
Before AI can recommend you, it has to be able to read you. Every AI answer begins with a technical question: can the engines find your site, fetch it, understand who you are, and trust it enough to quote? The AI Readiness Score measures exactly that.
The scan starts at your robots.txt — the rules that decide whether AI crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended can read your site at all. From there it checks whether you're reachable (HTTPS, sitemap, contact and about pages), understood (organization and person schema), and citable (reviews, FAQs, service pages) — then grades every crawled page on titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content depth.
Every issue found becomes a task in your Playbook — and when you've fixed something, you don't wait for the next scan: Check a Page audits any URL on your domain instantly.

Example
You can have great content, but if it's buried in scripts, missing structured data, or scattered across unclear pages, AI skims past it — and describes you from thinner sources like directories and reviews instead of your own words.
What's inside the report
1
AI Crawler Access
Your robots.txt, decoded: every major AI crawler — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, and more — shown as Allowed or Blocked.
2
Reachable, Understood, Citable
The three checks behind every answer: can AI fetch your site, identify who you are, and find content worth quoting?
3
Content Quality, page by page
Every crawled page scored on title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and content depth — click any row for details.
4
Schema Markup
The structured data that helps AI engines identify and cite your business — detected, missing, or misconfigured.
5
Check a Page
Fixed something, or built a new page? Audit it instantly — free, unlimited, your domain only. No re-scan needed.
The two checks that matter most
If AI crawlers are blocked
One line in robots.txt can hide you from every AI answer. We show exactly which bots can and can't read your site — and the fix is usually minutes, not months.
Fixed something? Prove it instantly
Check a Page audits any URL on your domain on demand — free and unlimited. No waiting for the next scan to know a fix landed.
Every AI answer starts with whether AI can read your site. This report makes sure nothing technical is standing in the way.
What your gaps mean
Every weak check points to a specific fix.
If AI can reach your site, but can't read your facts
you likely need structured data — schema for your business, services, reviews, and FAQs — so the models read facts instead of guessing.
If your content is there, but AI paraphrases it vaguely
you likely need clearer headings, more direct descriptions, and answer-shaped content the model can lift cleanly.
If AI describes an old version of you
you likely have inconsistent details across pages — align your name, location, and core facts so there's one version of the truth.
The goal isn't a perfect technical score — it's making sure that when AI reads your site, it comes away understanding exactly who you are and what you do.
